Results kindly supplied by Steve Monk as follows:-
40 players today, and the game was a Waltz 4-ball, so 10 teams competing.
Rules of the competition as follows:-The waltz dance goes 1, 2 3 and then repeats the steps. Hence in this game format the highest team score on first hole is carded, followed by best 2 scores on second hole and then finally best 3 scores on next hole. This pattern in then repeated till the end of the game...easy and very enjoyable.
1st - Peter Lynch, Bill Parry, Peter Fey and Harold Hughes with 86 stableford
points.
2nd - Ron Roberts, Barry Evans, Tony Jackson and Nigel Davies with 76
points.
3rd - Keith Hawthorn, Ernie Williams, Roy Jordan and Steve Monk with 72
