The teams all arrived as planned to start the day with coffees. BUT.....the rains came along with the wind before the teams set off. Not only that but hailstones had fallen locally e.g. Gresford. Colin Brown, Clays Seniors Captain was in the first team to set off only to return to the start again after only taking some 2 shots. He indicated it was too cold to play and the event was cancelled.
