Seniors Kitty competition November 23rd 2017

Decision made that due to  various course work/sanding etc being done today the format was to be pairs match play in teams of 4. Rules were through the green. Some 32 members took part and any monies collected for a 2 was waved and carried forward to the next event....pity as Derek had a 2 on the second! Tom indicated....32 players contributed to the 2s today giving a total of £6.40 plus a 20p carry over from Tuesday giving a total pot of £6.60. As there was no kitty comp today the majority verdict was to carry the total fund forward to next Tuesday's game which is round 2 of the winter league. It should be worth winning then!!
The weather today was decidedly winter like and periods of sunshine and showers interspersed with some high winds. If one lost a ball in the rough then often it was not found amongst the leaves.
