Today some 56 Seniors competed in lovely weather. Looks like summer may come early?
The event was played in teams of 4 with the best 3 scores to count. The highest individual scores went towards the Ray Mortell Trophy. Scores ranged from 89 points to 121 in the team event.
Seniors Captain Nigel Davies made all the presentations and entertained those assembled with a funny story..nice one Nigel. He also thanked those responsible for making the day possible namely Don Wraight, Steve Monk and Cliff Lloyd. The lunch today was Irish stew with bread and butter.

Winner of the Ray Mortell Trophy was Bob Brown on count back with 38 points. Ron Roberts also had 38 points. Bob had 22 points on the back 9 and Ron 16. Bob informed me that he had 2 blobs on the front 9 so well done.
Team results:

2. Bill Kelleher, Mike Goring, Alwyn Williams and Stuart Leyland 120 points. Each won a bottle of red wine.
3. Richard Key, Ron Roberts, John Davis and Phil Morris 119 points. Each won £5
