Pairs Betterball results February 16th. via Mike Healey

We only had 16 holes available today because Scottish Power were cutting trees and adjusting their cables across holes 16 and 17. It mattered not. The 37 troops who turned up were paired together and set forth from a variety of new tees. Although cloudy, the sun shone through and we reached a heady 15 degs temperature - almost spring-like conditions to be playing in. Because of the numbers, three members played with 2 different partners, therefore geting two bites of the cherry. The scoring was tight at the top (remember only 16 holes) with 3 cards on 39. Alas two of them lost out on countback with the four prizes on offer.
