38 Seniors took part today, in our second round of the Senior's Winter League. This round was originally cancelled in December but we will run through and the final results will be decided on five rounds only. The Ground staff were extremely busy working on holes 6 and 7 and fairway cutting has been undertaken around the course after all the rain we have had. The greens were also in very reasonable condition for this time of year and more importantly, the weather was kind to all! The following results were recorded:
First - Frank Rodenhurst 29 points 10 League points
Second - Chris Jacques 27 points (C/Back) 9 League points
Third - Peter Taylor 27 points (C/Back) 8 League points
Fourth - George Hughes 26 points (C/Back) 7 League points
Fifth - Ernie Williams 26 points (C/Back) 6 League points
Sixth - Alan Bottomley 26 points (C/Back) 5 League points
Seventh - Ken Tieszen 25 points (C/Back) 4 League points
Eighth - Colin Brown 25 points (C/Back) 3 League points
Ninth - Tom McGrady 25 points (C/Back) 2 League points
Tenth - Dave Palferman 25 points (C/Back) 1 League point
I will post the current up-to-date Senior's Winter League Table on Thursday January 9th. The following players recorded twos on the 1st Hole - Tom McGrady, Alan Barnsdale and Dave F Jones while these players recorded twos on the 12th Hole - Chris Jacques, Don Wraight and Frank Rodenhurst.
