Seniors Winter League round ONE November 14th 2017


Today the going was difficult under foot after recent heavy rains, However the sun did come out and at times it felt just like summer!!!

The results kindly supplied by Steve Monk as follows

48 players competed in what was the 1st round of this years Seniors Winter League, to be played over 6 rounds in total. League points are awarded to the first 10 players in each round, in addition to the usual kitty competition prizes. Winners today were as follows:

1st (10 league points) - Chris Jacques with 35 stableford points

2nd (9 points) - Dave Palferman with 34

3rd (8 points) - Dilly Jones also with 34

4th (7 points) - Ivan Corlett also with 34

5th (6 Points) - John Kelty with 33

6th (5 points) - Don Wraight also with 33

7th (4 points) - Martin Povey with 32

8th (3 points) - Ralph Hardy also with 32

9th (2 points) - Dave Jones also with 32

10th (1 point) - Tony Harcombe also with 32

Those with equal stableford scores were separated by the usual countback method.





Tom McGrady submitted the following - 45 people contributed to the 2s today giving a total fund of £9.00.

There were 3 winners each receiving £3.00;

Don Wraight on the 2nd
Ernie Williams on the 5th
Mike Hollings on the 5th
