Seniors Open at Ruthin Pwllglas and kitty competition at Clays July 5th 2016

As well as the senior members going to Ruthin a further 23 members played at home in an individual stableford competition. Results were as follows:
1st - Steve Monk with 35 points.
2nd - Irwin Elkin with 34 points.
3rd - Eifion Jenkins with 33 points.
4th - Stewart Poole with 32 points.

5th - Bob Brown with 32 points (on back 9 countback).



A very large number of Seniors went to Ruthin Pwllglas  Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club - YouTube  for this popular event. Although the early starters had to endure cool conditions it soon warmed up after noon. The Club as usual were great hosts and results are below:-

Winners – John Hughes ( RPG ) and Sel Roberts ( Wrexham ) 48pts

Runners Up – Nigel Davies ( Clays ) and Colin Brown ( Clays ) 44pts ( B9 )

3rd – Rob Roberts  ( Clays ) and Nigel Harris ( Clays )  44 pts

Nearest the pin on the 7th – John LL Williams
