What a glorious day we had today. Continuous sunshine all morning.
Results as follows:-
39 players participated in an Individual Stableford kitty competition (also a Qualifier), with at least 12 others competing in Honours Board knockout competitions.
In the kitty competition:
1st - Don Wraight, 40 points.
2nd - David Jones, 38 points.
3rd - Bill Kelleher, 35 points.
4th - Maelor Davies, 34 points.
5th - Peter Fraser, 33 points (on countback).
6th - Tony Harcombe, 33 points (on countback).
7th - Barry Dare, 33 points (on countback).
Reg Taylor carded the only 2 of the day with a 2 on the 17th. His tee shot using his driver finished only about 1 metre from the pin. Reg made sure he made his putt as the following video shows. In fact started his round from the 16th with some great shots only later to falter!
