On the 5th hole Mike Parks hit his tee shot near to the hedge on right hand side! Instead of declaring it "lost"he decided to play a provisional which went very close to the pin! His first ball was found and after having a drop he continued to play for the green.
Derek then took a video of his shot to the green but the ball nearly hit him and landed high up on the right hand side from where Mike carried on but unfortunately failed to score. If he had played his provisional instead he may well have scored 4 for 2 points. Ah well that's golf!
On a final note on the 17th hole Bill Kelleher hit a superb iron ( I think a 4 iron?) onto the green. He only had about 6 foot to get his 2 but no....hard luck Bill....watch the video
