Today this annual event took place at 9.30am. Both Captains were supported by a large number of members who turned up to watch them after enjoying a glass of fizz in the Club House. Ernie Williams the Club Captain teed off first followed by Pauline Peacock the Ladies Captain. A competition was held to guess their combined length of drives which was a creditable 308 yards.

Above Ernie taking his drive...well done. Pauline nervously waited to take hers but she need not have worried. She hit a superb straight drive.
