     Beautiful warm day for golf.

     Good to see Colin Williams back playing and below one can see him driving off the 11th tee..his team

      did par the hole as well. In fact they parred every hole apart from the 14th and came in with 62.3. After  

     his drive Colin's ball was selected. He hit driver off fairway to just in front on the green. Eat your heart out
    Alwyn!

   
      In addition a group of 4 Seniors were at the same time on the 13th tee with their backs to us!!
      Appears as if they are all looking for something?!!

August 7^th Seniors match vs Chirk Seniors DEFEAT FOR CLAYS 3.5 TO 4.5 IN FAVOUR OF CHIRK. Bob Brown (Clays Vice Captain and past Seniors Captain. was the only player to record a '2' ( on the 5th), and Tony Jackson had a great round scoring a nett 64.

On the same day a Stableford held at Clays  WAS WON BY RAY MARTIN 35 PTS FOLLOWED BY NIGEL MOORE 34 PTS WITH REG TAYLOR 3RD WITH 32 PTS.
