Seniors - Housekeeping first: You may have noticed a second noticeboard has appeared next to the main Senior board. This board is purely to display an (at a glance) annual calendar, in advance of any holidays you may be planning, or to look forward to big events like the Ryder Cup or Xmas Party. All of our majors are on there including also some club events that may be of interest. One of the dates is the 31st March, which of course is the cut off date for all of the senior and club knockouts. Don was busy today collecting entry fees but you have just under two weeks to get your entries in. Colour coding is self explanatory but the blank blue slots represent kitty competitions which do vary week by week. All of our matches are posted on the same board, the first of which is Mile End at home on the 17th April. Malcolm has already posted the sign up sheet on the main board so if you wish to be included, get your name on that sheet. Last of all - Thursday's competition is an individual Stableford Qualifier. The weather was spot on in accordance with the BBC. Some of us removed frost from our windscreens first thing but it had not affected the greens and there was just enough sunshine to make playing conditions very pleasant. 42 Seniors appeared for the draw and the going was good with some good scores at the top requiring countback.
