WALTZ REULTS VIA MIKE HEALEY TUESDAY MARCH 25TH 2025

Tue, 25 Mar at 14:43 Seniors - no fewer than 42 members turned out this morning despite the forecast of some rain. There was drizzle as we arrived and a very light shower around 11.30am but it did not deter the players. We split into 6 x fourballs and 6 x threeballs allowing two separate competitions. A fortnight ago, we turned a Waltz into a Tango and did exactly the opposite this morning and a Waltz was played. As usual, the scoring at the top of both sections was close and all of the following players received prizes: Waltz Results: Fourball First: Paul Cheetham, Peter Taylor, Ernie Williams and Peter Lord (78 points) Second: Fred Court, Tony Harcombe, Mike Drake and Eric Thwaites (77 points) Threeball First: Chris Blazdell, Mick McHugh and Tony Vesty (73 points) Second: Mike Healey, Reg Peacock and David Cole (67 points) Quick reminder that all entries for knockout competions (Seniors and Main club comps) with appropriate fees, must be in by Monday 31st March. Thursday 27th March is Pairs - Both to Count and we are running it in conjunction with a qualifier - explanation at the tally board 8.45am.
