YELLOW BALL KITTY COMPETITION

Seniors - One of my earlier reports. 35 members threw their tallies in this morning for a Yellow Ball kitty comp. We went out in fourballs so the first group employed a Ghost score. The weather held although one or two spots of rain attempted to descend towards the end of the round. The wormcasts were prominent and for those of us with trollies, the mud build-up was not great, however, the greens were once again magnificent. Mr Captain offered a bonus score of two points for any team who retained all four Yellow balls per card (no fewer than six cards recorded an extra two points - well done guys). Scores were close and countback was required between a couple of cards - read on for final results: Yellow Ball Results: First: Stewart Poole, Mick McHugh, Tom Blackshaw and Les Williams - 158 + 2 = 160 points Second: Geoff Millington, Tony Harcombe, Coiln Brown and Paul Cheetham - 154 + 2 = 156 points Third: Barry Evans, Stuart Leyland, Tony Vesty and Peter Fraser - 149 +2 = 151 points (c/b)
