Seniors - Pinehurst is the name of the game. It is a hybrid game somewhere between Greensomes and a Texas Scramble. The rules were sent out in advance by e-mail and re-inforced as the draw was being made. 20 members made numbers perfect for the pairing and 10 x two man teams went about their business. Although a little sticky under foot, the weather held and all came in dry, if not warmer than setting out. The cards and scores were handed in and combined handicaps issued before the results were calculated and read out. After some countback, there were three prizes distributed in total; Pinehurst Results: First: Alan Barnsdale and Peter Taylor (57 - 16 = 41) Second: Andy Mitchell and Peter Fraser (60 - 17= 43) (c/b) Third: Chris Roseblade and John Kelty (66 - 23 = 43) (c/b) A quick reminder that next Tuesday 2nd December is down for a 9/10 hole Texas Scramble immediately followed by the Senior AGM. It would be good to get numbers up for election of officers and the installation of your new Captain for the next two years. Thursday is our December medal. See you all next week. Mike
