Firstly a big thank you to Don Wraight for organising today, preparing the cards and prizes. A great day with 47 taking part made even better with the glorious sunshine. Nice to have 18 holes open for the first time this year, even if there were some tired legs at the end of the round. Congratulations to George who was presented the trophy by Roy Jones , a former captain and one of those who founded this competition. Nice to see you again Roy. We also had another presentation to Paul Cheetham for winning the winter league and the Captain dually presented Paul the trophy and a bottle of Whiskey.
