43 players competed in the '9x3 + 9x2' kitty competition. Best scores were:
1st - Mike Drake, Ernie Williams, Mike Parks and Tom McGrady with 93 points.
2nd - Reg Peacock, Frank Rodenhurst, Maelor Davies and Harold Hughes with 87 points.
3rd - Bob Brown, Bob Jarvis, Fred Court and Nigel Davies with 85 points
39 players entered the 2's competition run by Cliff. There were no winners and all monies collected will go towards the funeral of Tom Mara as will all the monies for the kitty competition entry. The Captain, Nigel Davies spoke kindly about Tom and asked all present to stand and observe a minutes silence. Tom will be greatly missed by the whole section...RIP Tom.
