September 14th President’s
Day
Clays President Irwin Elkin enjoyed
his special day and was supported by a full field of Competitors and guests.
Format was stableford full handicap off the white tees with a shot gun start at
8.45am. This meant that the presentation could occur at about 2pm in the club
house. The winners were announced by Bob Brown with Irwin presenting the
various winners with their respective prizes. Results as follows:-
Winner was James Pearson 39pts,
second Kevin Scaife 39pts and 3rd Tony Bull 39pts
Junior winner Jordan Pearson 40pts
Ladies winner Kim Harcombe 32pts
Visitor winner Colin Bain 30pts
Seniors winner Ron Roberts 38pts
Nearest the pin on the 5th
was Amy Thomas using a 7 iron
