XMAS LUNCH 2025

Dear Seniors, This year has flown by and it's nearly that time of year to get together to celebrate another year of golf, friendship and of course Christmas. This year's Christmas party will be held on Thursday 11th December with food being served at 2.00pm. Please arrive earlier, but latest 1.30pm, if you wish to enjoy a drink from the bar beforehand. Cost for the lunch this year remains at £20, which includes a 2-course meal and wine. Please let me know when paying for your place, if you require an alternative to the turkey Christmas dinner (e.g. Vegetarian, Vegan, Specific Allergy, etc) and Hayley will do her best to accommodate you. As usual, there will be a £5 collection for Hayley and another £5 for the ground staff in appreciation of their hard work over the year. Therefore, the total cost for the lunch including collections is £30. A sign-up sheet for the Christmas party will be posted by the notice board from mid-November in the form of a table plan, so put your name on the table you wish to sit at. Please sign up ASAP as it is important for us to know numbers for catering purposes. The cut-off date will be 30th November, and numbers will be restricted to 72 due to the available safe seating upstairs in the clubhouse, so book early to reserve your place. If there are spaces available after the 30th November, guests can be invited at a cost of £30. There will also be a quiz with prizes for the winners! On the morning of the Christmas party there will be a Texas Scramble competition, with prizes, so if you wish to play, please sign up ASAP. The sheet will be on the notice board next to the Christmas Party information from the same date. This year I am asking for payment to be made by BACS as it will simplify the whole process of having to handle large amounts of cash. If you are unable to pay by BACS, then please speak to me directly. Can you please pay as soon as you have signed up for the Christmas party, as seats will not be secured until full payment has been received. The total amount will be £30 (£20 for the meal and £10 for the two collections). When paying please remember to put your Name and Tally Number as a reference so I know who the money is from.
