MATCH VS MILE END AT HOME APRIL 17TH 2025 REPORT FROM MALCOLM WILLIAMS

Match v Mile End - Home - Thursday, 17th April. We welcomed Mile End to Clays for the first time in a number of years this morning. We were rewarded with a beautifully sunny morning with the course in excellent condition apart from the still sandy greens ( roll on the rain?). They were an extremely friendly group and we were wonderfully fed afterwards by Hayley. Clays won the contest 7-1, continuing the excellent form in Seniors' team matches. There were two's scored by 4 players, two from each team as follows:- Dave A Jones - 2nd ; Chris Andrews - 5th ; Jeff Farminer - 5th ; Graham Wright - 17th ; Our next Seniors' match is on Thursday, 8th May versus Old Padeswood at home; there are still a couple places left - team list on the Seniors' Notice Board.
