. 37 members arrived for today's Texas Scramble - always a popular event. There was a reminder about handicaps and generally, there was a good feel around the clubhouse before the first tee. The predicted 13 degs and sunshine didn't exactly materialise and it warmed up a little around mid-morning. 3 x threeballs set the pace and the fourballs stayed with them, with all arriving back in good time. All the scoring was close with several cards requiring countback but as usual, there can only be so many winners. Well done all!
