Seniors Waltz competition January 4th 2022. Results via Steve Monk and Mike Healey

Seniors - Happy New Golfing Year. 25 members arrived today for the New Year Waltz - some still trying to shed the after effects of hangovers and some simply needing a dose of welcoming fresh air. The course is still drying out and soft in places after the heavy rain last week but the greens are very good for this time of year. The groundstaff have worked very hard at clearing the remains of the fallen trees and we can only hope that the weather remains kind to us through to the summer. The organiser Mike Healey was absent today so his thanks are extended to Steve Monk for resolving the cards and sorting prizes. Three 3 balls and 4 four balls meant that there were two separate competitions being played and therefore only one prize for each section. New Year Waltz - 3 Ball: Scores - 48 points, 54 points and winners: Bill Kelleher, Harold Hughes and Alan Pocklington 58 points New Year Waltz - 4 Ball: Scores - 62 points, 65 points, 66 points and winners: Ken Tieszen, Bob Brown, Richard Collier and Dave Jones 68 points.
