Very cold day for golf today, with some patches of frozen ground, but mainly the course was in good condition for the time of year. 3 of the holes were played on temporary greens and some also from shortened tees, but this did not hinder the competition. Only two significant periods of cold rain / snow caused problems to some players. 39 members competed in the 4th round of this year's Seniors Winter League. Results were:
1st - scoring 10 points in the league, Alan Bottomley with a score of 43 stableford points.
2nd - 9 points, Barry Dare with a score of 38.
3rd - 8 points, Dilly Jones with a score of 37.
4th - 7points, Dave A Jones with a score of 36.
5th - 6 points, Keith Hawthorn also with a score of 36 (on countback).
6th - 5 points, Ernie Williams with a score of 35.
7th - 4 points, Mike Healey also with a score of 35 (on countback).
8th - 3 points, Tom McGrady with a score of 34.
9th - 2 points, Bob Jarvis also with a score of 34 (on countback).
10th - 1 point, Nigel Harris also with a score of 34 (on countback).
