Despite 20 guys playing in the match at Henlle today, 33 others turned up at Clays for the kitty competition with format being 3-ball teams playing best 2 scores on each hole.
Results were:-
1st: Tony Owens; Eifion Jenkins and Don Wraight - 80 points
2nd: Bill Kelleher; Rodney Evans and Mike Turner - 74 points
3rd: Peter Lynch; Harold Hughes and Elwyn Jones - 73 points.
There was also glorious weather in the Henlle match The result of the match was a draw 5-5
An excellent day with the course in superb condition with very fast greens.
