This very special annual event took place today with the weather sharing all the seasons!!
Many thanks to Roy Jones a past Seniors Captain for sponsoring the event and to Don Wraight for organising the event. The day started at registration with coffee and Welsh Cakes. After the golf all competitors enjoyed a lunch of soup, bread and chips.After lunch Colin Brown assisted by Roy Jones presented various prizes as below.It was good to see 2 Lady members competing and being amongst the best scores...well done ladies.
Overall winner was Harold Hughes with 36 points
Second Bob Jarvis with 34 points
Third Polly Davies with 34 points off a 25 handicap
4th Bob Brown with 34 points
5th Pauline Peacock...ladies Captain with 33 points off a 22 handicap
6th Dave Jones with 32 points
7th Paul White with 32 points
8th Peter Lynch with 32points
9th Mike Kalka with 32points
10th Tony Owens with 31 points
2's were recorded by Dilly Jones, Peter Fraser, Fred Court and Roy Jordan

Below one can see Tom McGardy finishing his round on the 18th green. I know Tom will not mind me saying that he had an atypical round for him finishing with 27 points and 7 blobs.
