Denbighshire Past Captains Day news about Bill Kelleher and Cliff Evans

The Denbighshire Past Captains final event of the season took place at Llangollen Golf Club on Wednesday October 1^st and the winners of the John Hawkes Silver Salvers were Bill Kelleher and Cliff Evans from Clays with 41 points. Mrs. Iris Hawkes widow of the late John Hawkes attended the evening function and presented the trophies. John was a much loved and highly respected member of Llangollen G C and one of the founding fathers of the Denbighshire Golf Clubs Past Captains Society.
