Excellent day organised by Competition Secretary Gareth RobertsBuffet laid on for all finalists followed by presentation to the winners by Club Captain Ernie Williams and Seniors Captain Colin Brown. Results as follows:

Gem Trophy: Mike Eaton & Richard Evans beat Graham Davidson-Clarke & Dave Riley                       

Flick Cup:  Andy Evans & Colin Bryan beat David Abell & Mark Pritchard

Ladies Better Ball: Shirley Roberts & Angela Thomas-Williams beat Kim Harcombe & Sheila Roscoe                    

Seniors Better Ball: Andy Mitchell & Ron Roberts beat Reg Peacock & Mike Hollings

Scratch Cup.  Andy Evans beat Danny Williams 

Mixed Foursomes. Angela Thomas-Williams & Mike D. Jones beat Ros Carman & Graham Davidson-Clarke

Dave Riley and Kim Harcombe of Clays Golf Centre won the Welsh Northern Counties Mixed Purves Knockout. The competition is played from May each yearand Dave and Kim beat couples from Penmaenmawr, Denbigh and Abersoch to get to the final. The final between Dave and Kim of Clays and David Evans and Muriel Jones of St Melyd was held at Prestatyn Golf Club. The match was eventually won in a hotly contested match by Dave and Kim on the 19th hole
