A large number of Seniors competed today to honour one of our much loved and departed members, Larry Birch.
As in the past Larry's family came to join the seniors and Steve Birch even competed in the event and in fact recored the best score with 40 points. Unfortunately he was unable to win the competition mainly due to the fact he was not "old enough" to be considered a senior....sorry Steve.
However the competition was won by Ron Roberts with 37 points and the photo below show him being awarded the cup by close family members Colin Webb and Janet Suckley. Colin gave a wonderful and very warm precis about Larry and his deceased wife Joy before Janet awarded it to Ron. See below.
