Todays event took place over 13 holes with the 18th being designated a par 3.
There were joint winners today as follows;-
Dilly Jones, Dave Roberts, Des Dipple and Ernie Williams with 35.4
On the same score were Ron Roberts (recently back from temperatures of 42C in Melbourne!) Brian Downes, Noel Jones and TOM MARA with 35.4
In 3rd place came Stewart Poole, Neil Sanger, Tony Owens and Dave Jones with 37.8
A very notable event was the "ace" carded by Peter Lynch who was in the 1 st group out on the first hole. Using his trusty 7 club he had an ace on the par 3 first hole. This was Peter's 3 rd ace of his golfing career. He has in previous times had an ace on the 2nd and 5th at Clays. Well done Peter. As is customary he left some brown medicine on the bar!!
