Mike Turner's 10 mile Charity Walk and monies raised


Just a note to let all the Seniors and others know that Mike and "Dolly" (his Border Terrier Dog) completed the walk today and thanks to all the seniors who sponsored him. Mike raised £130.

The day was very cool and windy but some very brave and courageuos people completed this annual walk. Some pictures below.

Above Beryl and Prince waiting at their first marshaling point for the first tranche of walkers including Mike. It was very cold and windy and we had to wear all our bad weather gear to keep the cold out!

Above is Beryl taking Prince for a comfort break at the site of our afternoon marshaling point at the Country Park on top of Hope Mountain and waiting for the first tranch of walkers to come through on the 2nd part of the walk.
 
Above is Mike with Dolly and a couple of other walkers leaving the park and about to complete the home stretch to the BBQ at Ruth and Alan's house..they were the organisers of this very worthy event
