Thursday September 1st MELODY Competition - see notice board for details or here..
FORMAT FOR "MELODY". melody is a four ball team game played off 25% of their combined handicaps. each player must have his gross score recorded on at least four holes. all players play the hole individually to the stroke format. then select whose score is going to be recorded on the card, this must be done on the completion of each hole and not at the end of the round. the game rely's on the team captains good judgment when choosing whose score to record in the early part of the round as it may be better to select a bogey from a high handicap player than a par off a low handicapper because a low handicapper is more likely to record good scores throughout the round .the 18 gross scores are totaled at the end of the round and 25% of the 4 combined handicaps is deducted, the team with the best net are the winners
