Seniors block tee times

Clays Golf Club – Seniors Section

Tuesday and Thursday ‘BLOCK TEE TIMESLOT’

It has been agreed with management, that the Seniors ‘Block’ Tee time for the above days will commence at 0904 and end at 1100, as from Tuesday 12 April 2011. The shop computer has been amended to this effect.

It is also agreed that the Seniors will continue to use the 1st, 14th, and 16th Tee’s, if numbers dictate, provided that, the Shop will be informed, prior to play on the day, exactly how many groups will be going off each of these tees.

The Shop will then be able to advise the number of players already out on the course, and the likelihood of any such group arriving at these tees whilst completing their round.

The seniors groups, thus affected will be advised accordingly, and reminded that they MUST LET SUCH GROUPS PLAY THROUGH.

It is further agreed that, should senior player numbers allow, the ‘Blocked Tee’ slots, not required at the back end, and which can be released before 1100, will be advised to the shop, PRIOR to that day’s play commencing.

These arrangements will commence on Tuesday 12th April and remain in force until further notice.

To facilitate this earlier start, the ‘Kitty’ competition tally draw will commence at 0845 sharp. The first tallies drawn out, being allocated to the 1st, 14th, and 16th tees, as applicable, so that those players can reach the appropriate tee in good time.

The only exception to these agreements being, those days on which a Monthly Medal is to be played, or those on which a ‘home’ match is to be played.

On these days, the current arrangements will remain in place, with seniors able to book tee times to suit them, prior to such competitions commencing, should they so wish.
